“Injuries at home and at play are not accidents. They can be prevented.” –Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
Distracted driving. Major falls. Fires.
You can help prevent most injuries. Marshfield Medical Center provides inpatient and community-based injury prevention programs and resources for adults and children.
We collaborate with area schools, youth groups and organizations to provide a variety of programs. Our teams help educate parents and children on bicycle safety and helmet fittings, alcohol and impaired driving, energy drinks and health, distracted driving and playground safety to prevent falls.
As a health system in a rural area, we also provide safety education related to farming injury prevention and Amish buggies and road safety.
