Entrance change for pregnant patients in labor
The entrance for pregnant or laboring patients being admitted, is the door to the left/east of the main Emergency Department entrance. This keeps healthy laboring moms distanced from those seeking Urgent Care or Emergency Department services. The screener at that entrance will screen and direct the patient to the Birth Center. This door is staffed 24/7.
