Hand care is the treatment of conditions and injuries of the bone and tissues in the hand and wrist.

Our orthopedic hand specialists provide expert care for a variety of hand conditions. These include hand surgery, tendonitis, arthritis, carpal tunnel and hand and arm rehabilitation.

Just a few of our hand treatments include:

Brachial plexus injuries

Brachial plexus nerves are responsible for sending signals that help control arm and hand movement. Injuries that impact these nerves can vary in severity with minor ones being common in contact sports.

Carpal tunnel syndrome

Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is a common condition of the hand and wrist. The condition can be caused by many factors including genetics, variations in individual anatomy, medical conditions, and some job or recreational stressors. Marshfield Clinic employs physician specialists who are experts in treatment of CTS.
