Our team provides education opportunities to meet requirements of Association of Child Life Professionals (ACLP), National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification and American Music Therapy Association Board Certification.

We have an affiliation established with Edgewood College
and will only be accepting Edgewood students for the winter practicum.
We have an affiliation with the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point and will only be accepting UWSP students for the fall and spring semesters.
We are not currently accepting any other practicum applications at this time.
Marshfield Children's Hospital Child Life internship program is accredited by the Association of Child Life Professionals (ACLP). We are one of three locations in Wisconsin with the accreditation. 
Child Life & Expressive Therapies – Internship: 15 weeks
Child Life & Expressive Therapies offers two 15-week (600 hour) internships during fall and spring semesters.
Our team has Child Life Specialists who are dually certified in Therapeutic Recreation and Child Life. Staff are also certified in Infant Massage, Car Seat Safety and Sibshops.
Music Therapy – Internship: 6 months
Music therapy internships are 6 months in length (at least 1,200 hours of clinical training) and meet the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) requirements for an approved Music Therapy Program. Our team includes Board Certified Music Therapists who also have training in Neurologic Music Therapy as well as NICU specialization.
