“My goal is to place the patient’s physical, emotional and spiritual needs at the center of a personalized care plan.”
Brandi Sparks-Luther focuses on collaborating with physicians to treat skin-related diseases. She has a special clinical expertise in caring for people who have conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis and rosacea.
Sparks-Luther began her medical career as a medical assistant at Marshfield Clinic. She then pursued her degree as a registered nurse and served for more than six years as a staff nurse in palliative care at Ministry Saint Joseph’s Hospital.
She said that being a good listener is part of the treatment process. “There are many components to dermatological problems; they are not just ‘skin deep,’” she said. “That’s why it is important to take time to make patients feel comfortable in sharing information, which allows us to see the ‘big picture.’”
She added, “An advantage of practicing at Marshfield Clinic is that we can provide patients with continuity of care. Our technological resources help us to stay current with patients’ complete medical histories and prescribe the appropriate treatments.”
Sparks-Luther earned her graduate degree at Concordia University Wisconsin, Mequon. She is board certified as a family nurse practitioner.
She and her husband, Matt, have one child. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, running and travel.
