Diagnostic services

When you have a neurological problem, our experts work to get an accurate diagnosis as quickly as possible. We offer diagnostic services for neurological conditions, using advanced technology and testing practices. Some common tests your provider may request to help diagnose your condition, includes:

Electromyography (EMG) evaluates and records electrical activity of muscles to measure how well and how fast nerves send electrical signals.
Electroencephalogram (EEG) measures and records electrical activity of the brain.
Lumbar Puncture, also known as a spinal tap, collects and examines fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord to find the cause of infections, inflammation, cancer or bleeding.
Polysomnography, also known as a sleep study, is a comprehensive test used to diagnose sleep disorders. It records your brain waves, oxygen levels, heart rate and breathing, as well as eye and leg movements. It is one of several sleep studies you may have depending on your sleep disorder, and can be done in our sleep center or at home.
