Dr. Victoria Viegut joined Marshfield Clinic Health System in 1994, fulfilling her lifelong goal of becoming a medical doctor. She specializes in providing family-centered primary and ambulatory pediatric care, for all ages and stages of childhood and adolescence.
This native of Wisconsin said, “Marshfield Clinic Health System is an ideal setting for pediatricians, with so many subspecialists to consult with and a very patient centered culture.”
Dr. Viegut treasures opportunities to interact with parents. “I very much seek their input in deciding on treatment options,” she said. “This involves keeping them fully informed about their children’s conditions and the available treatments.”
Dr. Viegut earned her medical degree at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Madison. She completed her residency at Marshfield Medical Center.
She also serves as a clinical assistant professor of clinical pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. “It’s very rewarding to work with residents and help teach them how to improve children’s lives,” she said.
Dr. Viegut and her husband, Chris, have three children. She enjoys attending her children’s events and activities, camping, and walking.
