Dr. Boyle became interested in otolaryngology because these specialists care for patients of all ages and both genders who have a variety of ear, nose and throat diseases and conditions. “The surgeries are delicate and interesting,” he said.
He joined Marshfield Clinic Health System in 1994. His practice focuses on treating sinus diseases, nasal surgery and general otolaryngology, including head and neck cancer.
“Even though I am a surgeon, my passion is to do everything I can to help people get better without surgery,” Dr. Boyle said. This includes taking actions to be physically and mentally healthy.
Dr. Boyle grew up in Iowa and chose to return to the Midwest to work and raise his family. He earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine, Iowa City. He completed a surgical internship and otolaryngology residency at the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville. He is board certified in otolaryngology.
“I do my best to treat people the way I want to be treated, in a way that minimizes intervention and maximizes their best interests,” he said.
