“I enjoy helping my patients through various situations and see them grow and get better.”
Growing up with her mom as a nurse practitioner, Tiffany Luckey was drawn to medicine at an early age. She also was intrigued with science and human anatomy courses in school. Initially, she planned to pursue physical therapy. However, after shadowing as a physician assistant, she knew she found her career.
In family medicine, Tiffany can care for patients of all ages – from a few weeks old to elderly adults. She also enjoys the variety of conditions seen in her practice.
Tiffany is originally from the Wausau area and resides in Athens. Although she commutes to Greenwood, she values that she can meet with her patients regularly and get to know the community. In 2015-16, Tiffany completed her clinicals in Neillsville so she’s happy to be back in the area.
“When you learn about the patient, you also get to learn about yourself,” she said. “I may be driving an hour to go to work, but it doesn’t matter because I always find some sort of similarity and connection with my patients.”
One of those connections is her love of geocaching. This is just one activity that Tiffany, her husband and daughter get to do outdoors. The family loves spending time and relaxing together. Tiffany also enjoys hunting while her husband is a farmer.
Tiffany earned her bachelor’s degree from Marian University in Fond Du Lac, and completed her masters of physician assistant studies from Concordia University in Mequon.
