Growing up in rural Wisconsin, Dr. Sharlene Kreitlow knew in her heart she wanted to work in a rural community. Board certified in OB-GYN, Dr. Kreitlow loves science and working with people. Medicine was a career that she could do anywhere and help many people in need.
“It is a privilege to care for women through the course of their lives and in many different phases," Dr. Kreitlow said. “It is wonderful to watch families grow and to get to know them."
As an OB-GYN physician, she has a passion for pregnancy care and contraceptive management. She also can provide treatment for menstrual problems, postmenopausal symptoms, bleeding concerns, abnormal pap smears and offers non-operative management of prolapse. In her practice, she can also perform placement of contraceptive devices, hysteroscopy and other gynecological surgeries.
“I want to give women the tools they need to live their healthiest and best lives no matter what phase of life they are in," she said.
Outside of work, Dr. Kreitlow and her husband have been married for more than 35 years with two adult daughters and four grandchildren. She enjoys gardening, traveling, reading and spending time with family and friends.
