Rachel Ave’Lallemant, doctor of physical therapy and certified athletic trainer, is very passionate about orthopedic care.
She helps patients recover from a variety of orthopedic injuries and surgeries involving the knee, hip, ankle, shoulder and elbow. Rachel also helps patients with general aches and pains and balance rehabilitation.
As a certified athletic trainer and physical therapist, Rachel likes to draw from both of her educational backgrounds when seeing patients. She is certified in dry needling, which she uses to help treat and improve pain and functional movement.
She has experience and interest in working with athletes of all ages, those recovering from injury and people with various movement disorders. “I like to incorporate both manual therapy and
functional movement based exercises into my treatments,” Rachel said.
Rachel takes a personalized approach to work with patients to develop their treatment plan. “Every patient is unique and their care should be tailored to their personal goals and attributes. Patient’s should play an integral part in their rehabilitation and progress,” she said.
Rachel received her Athletic Training/Kinesiology degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. She then went on to achieve her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota.
Born and raised in Minocqua, Rachel says she always felt connected to the community and all it has to offer. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with friends, family and her golden retriever. She is very involved in sports and cheers for the Badgers, Lakeland Union T-birds and Packers.
