Provider Bio down arrow

As a general surgeon, Paul Palmer, M.D., FACS, provides abdominal surgery, minimally invasive robotic assisted laparoscopic surgery, breast surgery, colonoscopy and endoscopy.

He also offers cosmetic procedures including hair removal, vein therapy, laser skin rejuvenation and much more using a Cutera Laser.

“Through general surgery, you can treat the whole patient. We provide the region’s most advanced minimally invasive laparoscopic general surgery procedures, which provide smaller incisions, reduced scarring and quicker recovery, and also offer cosmetic solutions,” Dr. Palmer said. “We have a state-of-the-art facility here. This is where you live, why travel unnecessarily when essential surgical procedures can be done here at home with high quality and safety?”

Even with all of this state-of-the-art equipment at his fingertips, Dr. Palmer understands that his patients need to understand the procedure he is performing so they can feel comfortable with what can be a difficult decision.

“My goal is to educate patients about their disease process and how I can help. The ultimate decision to have surgery, of course, is their own. But my goals is to give patients a realistic idea of what it takes to undergo and recover from the surgery,” Dr. Palmer said.

He attended medical school at the University of Wisconsin – School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison. He completed his general surgery residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo.
