“My obligation to patients is to make their experience with us as satisfying as possible.”
Patrick Andreae is a nurse practitioner
in Vascular Surgery. He assists in surgery
and sees vascular surgery patients on an
outpatient basis for post-operative checks, routine follow-up care
and new consults.
“Our department has cohesiveness
between the surgeons and advanced practice providers
that allows us to work closely together for
the benefit of our patients,” he said. “I play
a role in the follow-up case load and initial consultations so the
surgeons can spend more time in surgery where their skills and expertise are needed.”
Andreae earned his associate nursing degree from Mid-State Technical College, and then earned a bachelor’s degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He then earned a master’s degree in nursing from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.
