Patty Hautamaki, Doctor of Physical Therapy, works with patients dealing with a variety of diagnoses but specializes in vestibular rehabilitation and industrial rehabilitation services.

Patty graduated from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse with a master's of science degree in physical therapy. She later furthered her education and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from AT Still University.

Patty treats a variety of orthopedic diagnoses but has a specialty in vestibular and balance rehabilitation. She has found the challenge of working with patients that are struggling with multiple vestibular disorders, such as vertigo, vestibular neuritis or concussions, very rewarding. Patty finds it very satisfying to provide patients relief of their symptoms and education on recovery strategies to allow them to return to activities such as sports, school and work.

Patty also has a specialty in industrial rehab services. Industrial rehab services is a comprehensive service to help keep or return employees to active work duties. With this service, Patty can work with both the employee and employer to better manage symptoms, restore function and prevent further injury for early and successful return to work.

In addition, Patty is certified in dry needling. Dry needling is an effective way to address muscle spasms, trigger points and muscle pain that can limit a patient's activity level. She holds a certification in LSVT BIG for patients struggling from the effects of Parkinson's. This program helps patients restore movement to improve function and independence.

In her spare time, Patty enjoys biking, kayaking, camping and spending time with family.
