As a board-certified pediatrician, Nicole Francis, M.D., takes a preventive approach to your child’s health. She provides well-child visits, treats children when they are sick and manages chronic or ongoing medical conditions.
For Dr. Francis, she has wanted to be a pediatrician for a long time because she is passionate about making sure kids feel their best so they are able to play and laugh.
“Kids are always able to find the fun in things, even when others might consider it a bad situation,” Dr. Francis said. “They have a lot of hope, which is one of many reasons I enjoy my appointments with them very much.”
Dr. Francis attended medical school at Charles University – First Faculty of Medicine in Prague, Czech Republic. She completed her pediatric residency at Marshfield Clinic Health System in Marshfield.
During the visits, Dr. Francis makes sure to take the time to listen and incorporate both the child and parents.
“It is important that I help them understand what is going on as much as possible,” Dr. Francis said. “Everybody there should be involved in the development and overall health of the child.”
In her spare time, Dr. Francis likes to read, play the piano and be in the outdoors.
