“I
want to be the expert and guide my patients down a path of appropriate
treatment, but I also want to be there on a personal level.”
Dr. Maggie Moses is a Wisconsin native who greatly enjoys providing patient care.
“In medical school, I loved everything and wasn't sure what path to take," she said.
This led her to pursue a career in Internal Medicine at first but during her training, she rotated through a dermatology clinic where it all clicked and she found her “true passion."
Dr. Moses sees patients for general dermatologic conditions such as skin cancer, psoriasis, and acne, as well as patients with complex medical dermatology concerns like lupus, hair loss, and nail diseases. She also enjoys working with cancer patients who develop skin problems stemming from side effects of cancer treatment therapies.
“I just like being with my patients," Dr. Moses said. “I am most me when I am with my patients. I will sit and even if it's just 30 seconds, to find out about their life, gain a rapport with them and get to know them better and what their goals are for their health."
Dr. Moses graduated from medical school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2015. She then went on to complete two residency training programs - Internal Medicine from Duke University in 2018 and Dermatology from Stanford University in 2021.
Dr. Moses is married with two children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her kids and family, hosting parties, running and spending time outdoors.
