As a board-certified family physician, Dr. Ahmad enjoys
seeing a wide variety of patients and
conditions. It’s a joy to her to help
patients who have an uncontrolled and
complex disease such as diabetes, and
work with them to gain better control.
She sees all ages of patients, from young
children to older adults.
She earned her medical degree from
St. George’s University School of
Medicine in Grenada. She then
completed an internship in surgery
at Maimonides Medical Center in
Brooklyn, New York, and a residency in
family medicine at Medical College of
Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals
in Milwaukee.
She said she was attracted to Marshfield
Clinic Health System by the opportunity to serve a
relatively rural population at a clinic with an excellent referral system. “I also
appreciated Marshfield Clinic’s use of
electronic medical records and being
part of a large, multi-specialty group
practice,” she said.
In her free time, she enjoys reading
and traveling.
