“I believe that the science and art of
following children into adulthood is the
most important branch of medicine.”
As a board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Keith Pulvermacher takes a preventive approach to your child’s health. He provides well-child visits, treats children when they are sick and manages chronic or ongoing medical conditions.
His career as a pediatric physician began with his early interest in the natural sciences.
“I wanted to link my interest in finding solutions through science with my desire to work with people,” he said.
Dr. Pulvermacher said he has found pediatrics to be an ideal fit.
“I find engaging with children to be fun, and in turn, I strive to make it easy for children and their families to approach and communicate with me,” he said.
He has found that having a general practice offers a wide variety of opportunities to prevent health problems as well as restoring patients to health.
A native of Milwaukee, Dr. Pulvermacher earned his medical degree at that city’s Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at Marshfield Clinic Health System.
“Marshfield allows me to practice in an advanced health care setting, while offering a positive, small-town atmosphere for families,” he said.
He has two children. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing the guitar and racquetball.
