“I enjoy talking and listening to patients so I can improve their quality of life.”
As a Gastroenterology physician assistant, Kayleigh Gospdarek, P.A.-C., consults with patients about issues with their digestive system. This includes providing treatment plans and follow-up care.
Kayleigh most enjoys the one-on-one interactions she gets to have with her patients. She feels this connection is the most important part of the care she provides. This connection makes her patients more comfortable and allows them to share more information about their history.
“I am then able to find the best options for them that improve their quality of life,” Kayleigh said. “It is important to have compassion and empathy with patients to make a genuine connection.”
Kayleigh was introduced to medicine at an early age and so was drawn to science growing up.
“I wanted to care for patients and also use my love for science to help treat their conditions,” Kayleigh said. “I’ve always enjoyed talking to patients and listening to them.”
As a Wisconsin native of West Bend, Kayleigh is excited to be providing care to patients in Wisconsin.
She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. She then went on to receive her master’s in physician assistant studies from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee.
In her spare time, Kayleigh likes to read, travel, go to broadway musicals, hike and spend time with her family and dogs.
