“We'll discuss what we need to make happen to get the desired results and work together to create a good treatment plan."
Dr. Katie Udenberg fascinated by the science of medicine and how the human body worked. Choosing a career in medicine allowed her to follow her passions.
“I really enjoyed working with patients, especially kids," said Dr. Udenberg. “That's how I chose pediatrics."
She received her medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University at DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, Tennessee. She completed a residency in pediatrics at the Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine from Western Michigan University and Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She is board certified in pediatrics.
She sees children for newborn visits, well-child visits, sick visits and provides care for things like viral illnesses and mental health concerns.
She works to make care plans a collaborative effort between herself, the patient and their family.
“I listen to what their concerns are and what they want to get out of the visit," she said. “We'll discuss what we need to make happen to get the desired results and work together to create a good treatment plan and results everyone is happy with."
Dr. Udenberg has been part of the Chippewa Valley providing care to patients since 2019. She lives with her husband and their dog, Aura.
