“I enjoy working
with oncology
patients. They
give back so
much more than I
can give them.”
Julene Diedrich knew the moment she finished her oncology rotation in nursing school that it was the area she wanted to work in.
“I haven’t had a moment of regret,” Diedrich said. “It has been better than I imagined. Every day new advances in cancer treatment occur and I love being on the forefront of those changes.”
As an oncology nurse practitioner, Diedrich has additional advanced education and certification to provide nursing and medical services to cancer patients and their families. She works collaboratively with oncologists and hematologists to provide an array of services. She has more than 25 years of experience in cancer care.
Diedrich earned her bachelor’s degree from South Dakota State University in Brookings, and earned her family nurse practitioner degree at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.
She enjoys traveling, reading and volunteering in the community.
