Dr. Jeffrey Rossow is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine. He treats patients from teens to adults who have pain, instability and other sports-related injuries and traumas.
He has a passion for sports, and relates to the competitive and recreational athlete and understands their goals. “I look forward to helping patients to get back in the game quickly and as safely as possible," Rossow said. He is fellowship-trained in sports medicine.
Dr. Rossow enjoys the opportunity help people while applying new techniques in the evolving field of orthopedics and surgery. He specializes in procedures for the shoulder, knee and hip. This includes shoulder procedures ranging from instability to cuff repair and replacements. He also treats knee issues involving the meniscus, ligaments and cartilage. He performs hip arthroscopy and takes care of various orthopedic injuries to other parts of the body.
He takes a patient-centered approach as he gets to know his patients and understand their goals. “I hope people feel I listen to their concerns in a caring manner and as we work together to address each issue effectively."
Dr. Rossow earned his medical degree from University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis. He completed his orthopedic residency at State University New York Upstate in Syracuse. Dr. Rossow completed his sports medicine fellowship at the University of Iowa in Iowa City.
While not at work, Dr. Rossow is an outdoor enthusiast. He enjoys watching and participating in sports and spending quality time with friends and family. He and his wife have two dogs.
