Pediatrician Dr. Jeff Clark joined Marshfield Clinic Health System in 2018. He provides care for children in the Northwoods through well-child visits, treating children when they are sick and managing chronic or ongoing medical conditions.
Dr. Clark received his medical degree and completed his residency in pediatrics at University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health through the Wisconsin Academy for Rural Medicine (WARM) in Madison. He completed his two-year WARM rotation with Marshfield Clinic and his three-year residency in Madison. He is board-certified in pediatrics.
Born into a military family, he traveled across the U.S. and world through his high school years. He graduated from Crown College in St. Bonifacius, Minnesota and planned to use his worldly experience to launch a career in counseling.
Dr. Clark now has settled in northern Wisconsin with his wife and four sons. As his career is now more in focus, he sees how his two aspirations are coming together.
“In counseling, my strongest interest was the family unit and seeing healthy families develop,” Dr. Clark said. “I now see that in pediatrics and how counseling is a big part of your job. No other field combines those together in one specialty. I have the best of both worlds.”
“Family values are important to the people of the Northwoods. Working with children and their families is a passion of mine, and I’m excited to do that in a rural setting,” Dr. Clark said.
