As a nurse practitioner, Danielle Dahlberg, N.P., will help monitor your condition for changes or improvements. This includes providing education, symptom management interventions, preventative counseling and care on a physical and psychological level to improve your health on your cancer journey.
She does this by taking the time to listen to the patient and making every patient feel comfortable talking about their health concerns, which helps her implement changes to improve how they are feeling.
“I focus on identifying resources and interventions to help improve our patient's quality of life," Danielle said. “My philosophy is to provide compassionate, individualized care to each patient and their family"
She has spent her entire nursing career in oncology supporting patients on their cancer journey. She started out as a registered nurse in oncology, and now is a nurse practitioner.
“I have loved working in oncology since I started," Danielle said. “The patients are an inspiration and I couldn't imagine doing anything else, I'm honored to be a part of their care."
Danielle completed her nurse practitioner degree from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is board-certified as an adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner.
Besides spending time with her husband and two children, Danielle also enjoys being in the outdoors, travelling and attending sporting events.
