“I am passionate about providing women options of care with the education needed to make the best decisions for herself and her family."
Certified Nurse Midwife Cindy Stippich started as a registered nurse in the Obstetrics unit in Beaver Dam. While working, she encountered a certified nurse midwife who was passionate about caring for women throughout their life span while also supporting the women's families. Recognizing that same passion in herself, she decided to pursue a degree and to bring midwifery to her community.
With more than 40 years in health care and more than half of those as a certified nurse midwife, Cindy holds multiple certifications in women's health and obstetrics including fetal monitoring, hypnobirthing and women's health sonography, to mention a few.
“It is my goal to promote relationships between myself and my colleagues on our women's health team to make sure that patients receive the best care possible," she said.
For many patients, Cindy is a vital resource before, during and after labor and delivery, offering passionate expertise and a personal approach to care.
Cindy earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from Marquette University in Milwaukee, and received her certification in nurse-midwifery there with several honors for her leadership and education.
Outside of work, Cindy has three daughters who are grown with their own families. She and her husband enjoy traveling. When not traveling or spending time with family, Cindy enjoys doing puzzles and working with her husband on his classic auto renovation hobby.
