Celeste Jackson is a Behavioral Health
nurse practitioner who specializes in
treating adults. Her specialties include
women’s mental health (postpartum
depression and premenstrual dysphoric
disorder) and adult attention deficit
hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and
borderline personality disorder.
To treat ADHD patients, she can employ
combinations of medications, therapy
and organizing tools that can give
structure to their day, such as using timers
and establishing a steady bed time.
Celeste had previously worked as a
nurse in a nursing home and as a patient
advocate for Marshfield Clinic Health
System. In both positions, she worked
closely with psychiatrists, so mental
health was a good fit for her.
Her biggest accomplishment in life was completing her education despite being a teenage mother, so she has empathy for people who work hard at facing
their challenges in life.
Celeste earned her nursing degree at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She subsequently completed her graduate school education at the State University of New York in Stony Brook.
She has three children and is a native
of Marshfield. She enjoys traveling, fishing and hiking.
