“My passion is caring for people of all ages and helping them reach their health goals.”
Nurse Practitioner Caitlin Yenter is a strong believer in empowering patients to make their own informed health care decisions. Her approach is to provide patients with the knowledge and resources to manage their health.
“I hope to empower patients to take control of their health journey, improve their quality of life and achieve the personalized goals we set together as a team,” she said.
Caitlin believes the pathway to a healthy life is through prevention. She views health promotion activities such as education and screening crucial to prevention and early detection of disease. She uses the most current, evidence-based care, with a holistic approach – taking into consideration the patient’s lifestyle, occupation and family structure – to help them lead healthy lives and better their health.
Born and raised in Stevens Point, she takes pride serving her hometown. She completed her doctorate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and specialized in adult-gerontology care. She also is board certified in family medicine and enjoys caring for patients of all ages, including children.
“Marshfield Clinic Health System has provided me with quality health care since I was a child,” she said. “With the Health System’s strong history of research and evidence-based care, it’s an organization that I am honored to be a part of.”
As a true Wisconsinite, she enjoys hunting, baking, hobby-farming, outdoor activities, gardening, music and spending time with family.
