Our surgical faculty is thoroughly committed to residents' teaching. All faculty considers teaching an integral part of their job, and residents may count on daily one-on-one interaction with surgical faculty.
We believe that having a surgical faculty with different surgical backgrounds and experiences enhances our goal of providing excellent, well-balanced training to our residents.
One attending physician expressed the sentiments of many:
"I like to teach because it allows me to keep up with new innovative research and medical changes, along with changes in modern technology."
He added that the residency program was a major factor in drawing him to practice at Marshfield Clinic.
