Pre-employment tasks

Review any resources sent to you by your Human Resources or Physician/APC Recruitment representative as you progress through the following tasks in Workday.

  • Onboarding
  • Payroll
  • Employment Eligibility Verification
    • U.S. employers are required by law to verify the employment authorization of all workers for employment, regardless of the worker’s immigration status. Employee authorization is verified using the federal Employment Form I-9. You are required to present documents showing your work authorization and your identity. Click here for I-9 acceptable documents. You are required to present one document from List A, or one document from List B and one from List C. We cannot accept photocopies, digital images or expired documents.

  • As a security measure, new employees need to set up a temporary multi-factor authentication (MFA) to safely utilize the Workday system. Please follow the instructions on the “Workday MFA Requirement” PDF to create this security feature.

Orientation materials

Review these materials before or during your first week of work. Each link has important details for you. Note: Some internal documents and sites will only be accessible after your start date. You have 31 days from your start date to make your benefit elections in Workday. If you do not elect and submit your benefit elections prior to the 31 days, your next opportunity to enroll is during open enrollment or with another qualifying event.
