Gender-affirming care

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Our Gender Affirming Program (GAP) can offer you one-on-one support through your treatment journey and align you with LGBTQIA+ affirming primary care physi​cians.

We can help you:

• Connect with the GAP Navigator who can offer you one-on-one support through your treatment journey
• Find LGBTQIA+ affirming primary care physicians
• Find culturally competent mental health professionals with experience in gender diversity to offer mental wellness maintenance and evaluations for Letters of Support for hormone blockers, gender-affirming hormone therapy and/or gender-affirming surgery
• Receive care from providers dedicated to gender diversity

Additionally we have:

• GAP providers in various departments and specialties:
  E​ndocrinology
  Obstetrics & Gynecology
  Primary/Internal/Family Medicine
  Speech Therapy
  General and Plastic Surgery
  Dietitian
  Genetics​
• Telehealth appointments are often available with most of our GAP providers after establishing care with an initial evaluation in-person
• Access to LGBTQIA+ community resources throughout central Wisconsin and more
