Sportsmetrics™ is a six-week program consisting of flexibility, functional warm-up, a jumping program, and a weightlifting component for athletes. The Sportsmetrics program is the first training program scientifically proven to reduce ligament injuries in female athletes.
Sportsmetrics™: Don't be left on the sidelines!
Sportsmetrics™ has been proven to:
Reduce the risk of serious knee injury
Increase vertical jump height, up to 4 inches
Improve hamstring to quadriceps strength and symmetry in right-to-left leg power
Improve landing mechanics and reduce side-to-side movements at the knee
Marshfield Clinic licensed athletic trainers offer the Sportsmetrics™ training program each summer for area athletes.
- 18 sessions over 6 weeks, including pre and post-training testing
- Sessions include warm-up, jumping routine, conditioning and weight lifting
