Throughout our service areas, we are constructing state-of-the-art facilities equipped with cutting-edge technology. In addition to traditional care settings, we are providing care in new ways to maximize quality, minimize cost and optimize patient experience. We’ve invested heavily in expanding our telehealth capabilities so patients can connect with care providers where, when and how they want.
In Marshfield, for the first time, we are providing hospital care at our Marshfield Medical Center. Construction of our new hospital and cancer center is underway in Eau Claire, and we have plans to build a new hospital in Minocqua.
This investment in modern infrastructure, technology and care delivery is designed to make MCHS a fully-integrated system of care. Integrated care is the ability to provide and precisely coordinate all health care services a patient may need, from an annual physical, to more complex episodes of care. Through this integrated-care model, we will improve efficiency, quality and affordability of health care.
