Opioid Treatment

Opioid use disorder can result from overuse of prescription pain relievers, fentanyl or heroin.

Our providers can prescribe medication to treat opioid use disorder to reduce the risk of overdose and death from opioid use. This is done by replacing the drug with a weaker, long-acting medicine. This medicine will work on the same brain receptors as drugs like oxycodone, fentanyl and heroin. Tre​atment could help you reduce cravings to use, which can help you move away from substance use and return to enjoying life to the fullest.

Alcohol Misuse Treatment

Talk with your primary care provider to get support. Your primary care provider will perform a physical exam, which may include lab tests and imaging. Together, you can create a treatment plan that is right for you.

Our recovery coaches provide hope to anyone affected by addiction.

Each recovery coach has personal experience and is prepared to assist you with navigating your substance use journey in recovery. Your coach is there every step of the way to help motivate you and provide resources and support.

  • Naloxone saves lives - An opioid overdose can be reversed if you know what to do and can act in time. Naloxone is a drug that can block the harmful effects of opioids on the brain. Naloxone is widely available in Wisconsin as a nasal spray or an injection.
