Pat Volk knew as a young person that he would one day become a physical therapist.
"I have always loved the study of anatomy," Volk said. "I enjoy continually learning new assessment and treatment techniques. The field of study is always advancing, and I like to advance with it."
Volk handles an array of physical therapy needs. He sees patients with back, neck or knee pain, post-surgical needs, vertigo, wound care, balance dysfunction, plantar fasciitis and more.
"I listen intently to my patients so we can work together to assess, treat and reassess their injuries," Volk said. "I always keep the patient's goals at the forefront of our plan."
In his practice, Volk also prevents injuries by providing golf swing analysis, pitching/throwing evaluations, and custom fitted orthotics.
"I really enjoy meeting patients in our office or outside of it." Volk said, "Going over the throwing motion and the mechanics of it can sometimes feel most natural where a patient typically plays the game."
Volk received his bachelor's degree at St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, hiking, and boating. Volk is also a coach and proud father.
