Jenna Brehm, F.N.P., is a nurse practitioner specializing in plastic surgery. She sees patients of all ages with conditions caused by disease, injury and aging, throughout their reconstructive or cosmetic journey.
Brehm has particular interest in breast reconstruction and cosmetics. She treats patients through dermatology referrals, skin cancer mole removal and works with patients in the post-operative setting as a part of the care team with surgeons. Her work with cosmetics includes, Botox, fillers and CoolSculpting.
Every patient is unique and Brehm uses empathy and advocacy to help patients through their care journey. “I believe in communicating with each patient to find common ground while using best evidence-based practices," she said.
A personal experience inspired her to pursue a career in health care. “Hospitals used to terrify me as child, until I was a teenager and needed an appendectomy," Brehm said. “The care I received from the surgery and pediatric nurses inspired me to become a nurse here at Marshfield Medical Center."
Brehm continued her education to become a nurse practitioner after experiencing the collaboration of a health care team working towards the common goal of serving patients. “The evolution of medicine inspires me, and I've always loved plastic surgery, even at the start of my nursing career," Brehm said. “I enjoy understanding and addressing conditions and injuries to provide care that improves patients' outcomes and experiences."
While not at work, she enjoys spending time with family, baking, gardening, wakeboarding, fishing and camping. She also enjoys finding unique, quality coffee shops while traveling.
She earned her Family Nurse Practitioner Master's degree and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University College of Nursing in Addison, Illinois.
