"I entered the field of physical therapy to help people relieve their pain and to improve their function."
Jeffrey Quednow turned passion to profession when he became a physical therapist. An avid student athlete, Quednow discovered through the motion of his own body how exercise improves function and aides in the recovery from injury. Applying years of study to this early knowledge, he now enjoys helping others see how movement and exercise can improve their health.
His specialties include musculoskeletal pain of the legs, spine and arms, balance issues, and generalized weakness affecting functional abilities.
Quednow gets excited when patients realize the potential of physical therapy. "Pain significantly impacts quality of life," he said. "I listen to my patients to create an individual and meaningful treatment plan that aims to relieve pain and sometimes even avoid surgeries."
Quednow earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and his Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
He continues his personal passion for exercise, and can frequently be found playing basketball, fishing or running through the beautiful Northwoods.
