Dr. Elizabeth Hathaway joined the Marshfield
Clinic Urgent Care department in 2017.
“I chose to join Marshfield Clinic because it
brings me back to the Northwoods, close
to family in Wisconsin and in the upper
peninsula of Michigan where I grew up,”
she said. “It also allows me to practice
medicine alongside others committed to
providing excellent health care.
Growing up on Lake Superior, I enjoy anything
outdoors; ice skating, cross country skiing,
hiking, fishing, boating and experiencing
the beauty of God’s creation.”
Dr. Hathaway has practiced family medicine
for 25 years in Franklin, TN, with Vanderbilt
University. She is trained to care for people of all ages and provides a wide gamut of
services for urgent and acute health conditions. She has a special interest in minor office procedures and counseling.
“I am a people person,” said Hathaway.
“I love all people and consider it an honor to help take care of patients in their time
of need.”
Dr. Hathaway received her bachelor’s and medical degrees from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine, Mobile, AL. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University, department of Family Medicine, Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, NC.
