Dr. Dale Larson was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. After training at the top programs in the United States, he started the gynecologic oncology program at Marshfield Clinic in 1987. He has since performed more than 6,000 operations on women with diseases of the uterus, ovary, cervix, vagina and vulva. Marshfield’s published cure rate for cancer of the uterus is among the best in the world.

Dr. Larson earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School, Ann Arbor. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Washington University’s Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, and his fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of Texas-MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston. Dr. Larson is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
