Crystal Getchell was introduced to health care in high school when she worked as a CNA. After graduation, she pursued her associate in applied science in practical nursing, associate degree in nursing and bachelor's degree.
Over the years while working as a nurse in long-term care and on various hospital units, she was inspired by those who she worked with and patients she took care of to pursue her doctorate degree in family practice nursing. She received her degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
As a family medicine nurse practitioner, she provides preventive care and treats acute and chronic conditions for patients of all ages.
“I believe the patient-provider relationship revolves around teamwork and good communication to reach a desired goal," she said. “Each patient deserves to be heard and given the adequate resources to achieve optimal health."
She strives to develop lasting relationships with her patients and aid them on their journey to a healthy lifestyle.
Outside of her practice, she enjoys camping, kayaking, biking, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
