I want an honest,
open relationship with my patients that allows us to maximize your health
Inspired by his mother's ability as a nurse to impact the health of those around her, Casey Waldvogel knew his career path would head down a similar path.
In his role as a heart failure nurse practitioner, Casey specializes in caring for patients with congestive heart failure. He is fueled by the joy of helping an individual improve their current health situation.
“I enjoy giving a patient the education needed to take back control of their health in areas that can be controlled," he said. “I am most passionate about providing the tools needed to improve the patient's activity level and quality of life. By doing this, they can have more moments with their loved ones."
Casey strives to be a provider who not only provides excellent care, but is friendly and easy to talk to.
“I want to educate the individual on the required self-management options to improve their current health," Casey said. “The most crucial element of providing patient care is building that trusting relationship. The patient needs to know you care about their health and want them to have a quality of life."
Casey earned a master's degree as a family nurse practitioner with a focus in adult/gerontology acute care from Walden University and a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix.
“As a provider, I can and will follow evidence-based practices, but ultimately in this partnership, the patient needs to be accountable for following treatment recommendations.
Casey and his wife live in Birnamwood and enjoy traveling and cheering on their three children in their respective activities. They also enjoy playing catch with their yellow Labrador.
